Use of WMD's Specifically Chemical Weapons By Terrorists Inside The United States May Be Imminent

Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) are in the hands of terrorists and have been used for some time in attempts to cause wide spread destruction and instill fear.

May 16,2004 marks an ominous day in the war on terror. For that is the day that terrorists first used a chemical weapon in battle, and used by a non state or in other words not by a direct Government.

Though this incident only caused a "slight exposure" to two Unites States, explosives ordinance disposal technicians, it was designed to kill thousands. Had this weapon gone off as intended it would have spread a fatal cloud of GB (Sarin) over a dozen city blocks and would have caused the death of Iraqi civilians, and 3,000 coalition troops stationed nearby at camp Victory. The 155mm shell contained one gallon of the agent, though it was not known at the time.

Since May 16 2004 there have been at least six other attacks against coalition forces in which some chemical agent was involved. All were WMD's of Saddam Hussein's pre-Gulf War arsenal.

In 2005 U.S. troops conducted a raid on a warehouse in the city of Mosul. During the raid they discovered a weapons factory that held 1500 gallons of chemical agents and precursors to create more weapons.

On February 23, 2008 truck bombs containing chlorine gas were detonated inside Baghdad. The poison gas and blast effects killed more than a hundred people.

Al-Qaeda is determined to use these agents against the United States and many security experts and myself feel that such an attack is inevitable.

The terrorists have been experimenting and using various chemical weapons in attacks and are honing their skills and studying the effects of these attacks as well.

Pakistan Strike Kills 40 Militants

Suicide Bomber Targets Police Headquarters In Islamabad

Pakistan Killed approximately 40 militants in a strike today as the Country was being visited by a United States Diplomat.

It appears the new Pakistani Government is steaping up efforts against militants, but the Country is still extremely volatile with Al-Qaeda, and Taliban militants increasing their attacks throughout the Country.

Pakistan has also asked for a loan of $5-6Billion from the IMF.

Al-Qaeda Suffers From Communications Problems In Cyberspace

Since September 10th 2008 Al-Qaeda has had a problem with their web based forums. Only leaving one currently operational.

The trouble has forced them to issue statements to their followers to no trust look alike sites and stated on September 29th that they were down for technical reasons.

The report by the Washington Post noted there have been several examples in recent years of extremist Web sites being attacked by hackers, though it isn't clear who the hackers are nor whether the United States is involved in the attempts to disable the terrorist communication network.

Secret Raid To Kill and Capture Militants In Pakistan

The United States is not confirming the story, however multiple news sources are indicating that a raid took place inside Pakistan to kill and or capture militants, and Al Qaeda forces in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

After the raid took place Pakistan is saying that the United States relied on bad intelligence and that only innocent civilians were killed, including woman and children. Though I myself do not belive that report.

Pakistan is also claiming we violated their territorial rights, however, I would like to dispute this claim, since Pakistan has publicly made statements that they are unable to control this part of their territory, and they have confirmed that Al Qaeda has freedom of movement in an area that has become largely like Afghanistan prior to the United States driving out the Taliban in 2001.

If they are unable to establish control over a region, how can they claim that it is their sovereign territory? So on this basis I would like to dispute that Pakistan has the right to that region, and if they do have control, then they themselves are giving shelter to terrorists.

In either case, I say it is about time we strated operating in this region and drive the terrorists out of their caves.

Though I doubt that the actions will be confirmed, I hope this leads to many more such actions.
